Well the answer to that question is yes and no, dependent upon your situation. In the past, home sellers and Realtors alike would prefer not to list during the holidays. But those were the days, when house hunters and their Agents were spending their saturdays driving from home to home.
Todays buyers are more informed, know what they want and what they want to spend. The internet has made it incredibly easy and convenient to “shop” for property even over the holidays. Its easier than ever to hop on our mobile devices, during our morning cup of joe, while waiting to pick up Jonny and Jane from school, and if your like my wife….a quick glance before lights out.
Buyers are looking, and the people who are looking are starved to see more properties since the current inventory in our market is low and that number is even less during the holidays. You may have fewer buyers swing by the house for showings….but the ones that do are serious about buying….and buying now.
